In those early days, I spent countless hours in the darkroom, meticulously crafting and perfecting each print. It was here that I learned not only the technical aspects of photography but also the profound importance of values – not just in the visual sense, but in life itself. Discovering the delicate balance between light and dark to convey depth and emotion became a pivotal aspect of my photographic philosophy.

My commitment to honing my craft led me to the University of Minnesota, where I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. Those years were marked by an unwavering dedication to my craft, and my passion for finding and creating beautiful images became an all-consuming force.

Fast forward three decades, and my journey has evolved with the times. While I no longer spend hours in a darkroom, I now harness the power of technology, using mirrorless cameras to capture your moments and Photoshop as my modern-day darkroom. Though the tactile sensation may be different, my commitment to creating stunning visuals remains unwavering.

With 30 years of experience under my belt, I've ventured into various aspects of photography, including portraits, headshots, product photography, and even the fast-paced world of sports photography. Yet, my true passion lies in lifestyle photography. Theres just something about capturing the world and the people in it that makes me want to capture it even more!
